We are excited to share the details of our next guild member swap!
Do you have some scraps you want to part with? The August swap will help you make room for more fabric AND you’ll get a set of original gorgeous coasters. The swap will take place at the August 11th guild meeting.
Want to participate? Sign up by July 11th. (When signing up you’ll be asked just a couple of questions regarding fabric preferences.)
Once sign-ups close, you will receive an email with the name of a guild member who will be the recipient of your coasters along with their fabric preferences. This will be a blind swap – your recipient will get someone else’s name, not yours!
We ask that you make a set of 4 coasters, with a recommended finished size of 5”-6”. If you’ve made coasters before, you know how fun they can be and how there are many techniques to accomplish your goal. If you’ve never made coasters, here are some resources that may give you some ideas:
