We are excited to announce a new workshop! The Art of Fabric Bending will be taught by Michelle Wilke @ml_wilke on Saturday, September 14 from 10 – 4 pm. The workshop will be held at the classroom location of Bernina World of Sewing, 6013 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh.
From Michelle – “In this class, let us take a new look at strip piecing by folding in improvisation techniques and manipulating the fabrics to add soft curves or waves into our designs. You will design your own quilt layout using soft curves and start constructing your strip-pieced quilt, on the fly, with the aid of a design wall.”
Member workshop fee is $40. Registration opens Saturday, August 3 – members will receive an email with registration link at 10 am. Non-member registration will open in late August. The reasonable cost of this workshop for guild members is made possible by the gracious sponsorship of Bernina World of Sewing, who donated use of the meeting space.
Cancellation policy: Refunds are available only if your workshop seat is filled by someone on the waitlist. A $5 fee will be retained to cover transaction fees.
