Every month, we’ll announce a quilt block for members to make for the following month’s guild meeting. You can make as many blocks as you want and for every block you make, you will be entered into a drawing for ALL THE BLOCKS! From there, winners can let their creativity fly with the block winnings.
For October, we are collecting Night Garden blocks!
Here are the details for the October block:
- Description: Anything that you might find in a garden – flowers, plants, hedgehogs, gnomes, mushrooms, bugs, leaves, snails, moons, stars, owls, butterflies, bugs, etc. – set against a dark background
- Block Size: Any size
- Fabric : Background: dark (i.e. black, navy); can use solids, prints, and/or scrappy; Bright colors or solids for the main fabrics which pop against dark backgrounds.
- Skill to Explore: contrast
