Every month, we’ll announce a quilt block for members to make for the following month’s guild meeting. You can make as many blocks as you want and for every block you make, you will be entered into a drawing for ALL THE BLOCKS! From there, winners can let their creativity fly with the block winnings.
For November, we are collecting Star blocks!
Here are the details for the November block:
Description: Create a star block using any method and any design. A star block features a focused design that resembles a star and can be a traditional or modern design. See the below list of tutorials and resources for instructions or design ideas.
Skill to Explore: piecing; contrast; scraps; improv
Block Size: Minimum unfinished size of 4” square up to a maximum unfinished size of 12 ½” square.
Fabric : Maker’s choice!
Instructions: Using a design of your choice or one of the tutorials listed below, create a star block.
