November 2023 Meeting
Our final guild program for the year is Sunday, November 12. The meeting will start an hour early – 2 pm – 4 pm. If the weather is nice, we hope to hold much of the meeting outside.
Bring your handmade item (wrapped) to swap with another guild member as part of our Brighten Up Your Winter swap. Need an idea? The swap committee suggests potholder(s), table runner, pillow, coaster set, towel with quilted or embroidered details, zippered pouch or bag.
Donate your unwanted stash! We invite you to bring fabric, books, and supplies you’d like to de-stash and donate them at our guild’s garage sale!
The guild will accept cash or check (preferred) as well as PayPal. Make sure you bring a bag for your shopping. All proceeds from the sale will be set aside to fund the guild’s efforts to increase our Community Giving program. All unsold items will be donated to the Scrap Exchange or Dorcas Thrift Shop.
Bring any quilts ready to be delivered to children in the Durham County foster system before the holidays.
Bring some wrapped snacks to share!
Get ready to applaud! We’ll be announcing the Viewers’ Choice winner from the guild challenge.
Bring along any recent finishes – including your challenge quilts and QuiltCon submits – for Show & Tell – always a meeting highlight!
