The MQG announces a QuiltCon Community Challenge Quilt prompt each year for local guilds to create a quilt in a specific color palette and theme. Guilds are encouraged to focus on the word ‘community’ to both create the quilt with as many guild members as possible and also for the final quilt to benefit an organization in your community.
For Triangle MQG, our QuiltCon Community Challenge quilts are donated to children in the Durham Foster Care system after hanging at QuiltCon and entered into the NC State Fair.
