As presented in our January 2024 guild meeting, here is an overview of the TMQG financials as of 12/31/23.
TMQG total assets (as of December 31, 2023) are $8,996.72 comprised of $8,540.96 in our Wells Fargo account, $260.76 in PayPal and $195 in cash. The guild had 215 members at year end, a growth of 78 from 2022. The guild ended the year with a $889 surplus year to year, some of which is earmarked for Community Giving activities.
The facility fee includes meeting space rental for both 2023 and 2024. We upgraded our guild web presence in 2023 to create a improved experience for members and discontinued our Zoom account. We collected $967 in our November fund raiser which is earmarked for spending on our Community Giving projects.
Money collected from dues and newsletter sponsorships supports the majority of the guild expense and is broken down as shown in the pie chart below. Workshops and retreats are self-funded by participants.
