We are excited to announce the Triangle MQG biennial retreat will be held Friday, April 25–Sunday, April 27, 2025 at the Bernina World of Sewing studio, Raleigh.
For the first time, we’re doing a local retreat! Sleep in your own bed, or get some quilty friends together in a rental house or hotel room. You get to spend three days in the BWOS studio, sewing to your heart’s content and having fun with friends. Bring your machine and projects to work on. Ironing tables and cutting tables are provided in the space. Our retreat begins Friday at Noon and runs until Sunday at 4 p.m! (The specific hours are Friday Noon- Midnight, Saturday 8:00am to Midnight, and Sunday 8:00am to 4:00 pm.)
We will have some Panera catering for brunch treats on Saturday, an optional secret buddy swap, goodie bags and door prizes, a community giving quilt improv exercise to work on, and even more fun shenanigans! Plenty of time for your own projects, too, and of course, the Bernina World of Sewing store is right down the hill for supplies.
The retreat fee is $100/person and is available for Triangle MQG members only. (Please only register if you plan to attend all three days (or at least a major portion of each day). With limited space, and a large guild, we cannot accept registrations for people who only want to attend a day or two. We are unable to offer single-day spots.

We have 26 spots for attendees, first come, first served. If all spots are filled, we will have a waitlist.
Cancellation policy: Refunds are available only if your retreat seat is filled by someone from the waitlist. A $8 fee will be retained to cover transaction fees.
