April Guild Meeting

Get ready for SCRAP-A-PALOOZA!!

Join us on April 13th, 3 – 5 pm for a meeting all about scraps!  Love them or loathe them, if you are a quilter, scraps are inevitable.  We will hear TedTalks from members about scrap storage, use, and tips and tricks we can all employ.  If you have a creative or interesting way you use scraps you’d like to share with the guild, please reach out to us at trianglemqg@gmail.com.

And back by popular demand – Fabric Diving! Bring your scraps and leave with some new scraps. Here are the guidelines about what to bring:

  • Quilt store quality cotton fabric
  • Larger than 2in x 2in, but smaller than a fat quarter
  • Keep the amount of scraps to about a 12in x 12in x 12in container

Those that bring scraps will get the first opportunity to scrap dive! After that, everyone can dive in!

Our first swap of the year will be a Spring Cleaning Notions Swap.  Take a look around your sewing room, and find something you happen to have a duplicate of or no longer use.  Please bring a gently used/new notion to swap with other guild members.  No signup is needed!

Don’t forget to bring your log cabin blocks for our block lottery plus your latest makes for Show & Tell.
