TLC Commemorative Quilt

Early in 2025, Triangle MQG was invited to celebrate the opening of a new residence hall at TLC by creating a commemorative quilt. TLC, formerly known as the Tammy Lynn Center, is a care facility for intellectually or developmentally disabled individuals.

Tatyana, Jessica, our guild president, Michael, and Susan (not pictured) volunteered at a table on a chilly Valentine’s Day to collect squares decorated by families and guests who attended the ribbon cutting and open house. With all the decorated squares, volunteers from our Community Giving Committee and the Scrap Bee came together to piece this wonderful quilt that will hang in the new residence.

Special thanks to Erin B. for above and beyond quilt wrangling and to Sarah S. for volunteer long-arming.
