Make a tote bag for a partner! Using fabric provided by your partner, make a tote bag using any tote pattern (see inspiration below for free tutorials and patterns).
How to participate: Bring a paper bag full of 1 yard of fabric (either a single yard cut or multiple cuts of a variety of fabrics that equal 1 yard) to the MARCH meeting. The fabric(s) will be what your partner uses to make your totebag. We will provide index cards for you to place in your bag that will identify your name and contact information so the finished tote bag can be given to the correct person.
When you receive your partner’s paper bag, use the fabric they provided to make a tote bag with any pattern of your choice. You can supplement with additional fabrics from your stash to create the design of your choice.
Bring your completed tote bag to the April meeting to swap.
